Watch Party vs Campus: what's the deal?

Watch Party, Interest Meetings, Extension Site, Campus… there are just some of the names I’ve heard (and used) but defining them seems all over the place.

For example, I used to start and steward Extension Sites, some of which were 150+ people without staff or a facility. But there are churches who would call that a campus and have 3 staff there.

I’ve also started and stewarded Watch Parties, some of which had 100+ people, and they didn’t even qualify to be called an Extension Site. But again, some would call that a campus.

Many do interest meetings that look to me like Watch Parties.

Many do Watch Parties that sound a lot like Small Groups.

What’s the difference? What standards do you set for these? Is there a progression from one to the other?

Your answers to these questions should be custom to your mission AND related to the amount of work you want to put in AND the expectation you have for their production over the long term.
