The 48-page handbook for $250??

The 48-page handbook for $250??

Believe it or not, I wrote a 48-page handbook for how to build a new location. This may surprise you who think I'm anti-handbook. Let's talk about it...

I’m pro-handbook.

I’m ANTI-worship-the-handbook-and-eliminate-all-thinking.

That’s the danger of a handbook. So many people read them and copy without any effort, without context, without coaching, and without any long term success too.

When I was starting over 300 locations around the world, I needed to create FROM SCRATCH so that we were aligned, not necessarily identical.

What we did (and all churches) was unique. Only to the generic, lazy, passive, or uninformed eye did we do what others do. But below the surface, we had unique “Whys” and “hows.” And so do you.

How do you coach, teach, inform, and release people to lead while also keeping some version of alignment and sync? You write stuff down, continually update, and reinforce the principles and values within it.

At one point I had a formula for how many inches of screen you need for each person in attendance. And it was on purpose. Not all of those details lasted forever. Some things morphed over time. Other things remain non-negotiable to this day.

All that to say, I have the exact handbook I made.
It’s 100% custom and 100% written by me as I was tasked to invent the process of scaling our church beyond our city and even to every other continent.
And I did.
