When most churches think “volunteer care,” they default to one of two extremes:

  • Ignore it. “They signed up, they’ll show up. Until they don’t.”

  • Overdo it. Cue the massive Team Nights with fog machines, catered buffets, and 4-hour training Olympics.

Both are wrong.

Because volunteer care isn’t about events. It’s about intentionality.
