In Acts 3, Peter and John weren’t out looking for a miracle.
They were just headed to prayer at 3 p.m., like they’d done a hundred times before.
And the man at the gate? He’d been dropped off there every day, begging in the same spot, asking the same questions, hearing the same “sorry man” as people walked by.
Two routines.
Two roles.
And both looked extremely ordinary.
But that day?
“Now a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful… When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money.”
