A Weekly Routine I Suggest for Church Staff
If the cliche is true, "it’s not just a job—it’s a calling" then we have a big need for intentional rhythms that prioritize excellence, health, and mission.
Church staff carry a unique responsibility.
A common line for all the super-Christians out there is “It’s not just a job—it’s a calling.” And with that calling comes the need for intentional rhythms that prioritize excellence, health, and mission. Unfortunately, too many church teams stumble into their weeks with little structure, burn themselves out midweek, and scramble into the weekend unprepared.
That’s no way to honor the mission.
Here’s a weekly routine I recommend for church staff to not only survive but thrive in their roles. By the way, I hate Mondays off. I’ll tell you why I’ve never seen it be productive in ANY church I’ve ever been to.
