5 THINGS I SAID TO SOMEONE WHO WANTED AN ELEVATION LOCATION

I spoke to 1000's of people in over 100 countries who wanted a campus or some version of Elevation. I wish I could do a documentary on those stories.

This was before eFam and various expressions of Elevation, all of which grew out of the expansion initiative we tipped off in 2011. TV ministry, online/eFam, apprenticeship, worship academy, tour stops, watch parties, pop ups … ALL of these were born from the early requests I fielded from around the world. And here’s exactly what I told them.

I was hired to answer the question “how do we get Elevation [here]?” I have a list of 1,245 contacts (yes, literally) who wanted a location of some sort over the years … even as late as 2021 even though I resigned in 2020. (Crazy, I know.)

We started 11 locations outside Charlotte, dozens of official Extension Sites, and over 300 other wannabe groups from nuclear submarines to FOBs in war zones to Italian suburbs. And we did that very well. But the success or “yes” rate was basically very low on purpose. So go slow.
