In a country where many pastors put their identity and value into how many paid staff they have, I'm suggesting the opposite. I also suggest you only need 5 FTE until you run 1000. I'm a heretic. :)

I know so many churches who have these roles. And…

They swear by them one day, swear at them the next. HA! But these days you can save so much money AND get far better results by contracting. You eliminate what typically becomes dead weight, outdated fruit, or babysitting a horrible culture fit
